CSS not working... am I missing something?

I just upgraded to version 5 PRO - specifically to use CSS - and am building a new site. I have CSS enabled (the blue button at top) and have created my own style. I’ve kept it simple - the only change is to the leading which I’m setting at 120%. In the PAGE view, it looks fine. But in the Preview mode (both in Freeway and in Firefox) the additional leading is NOT showing up.

I’ve tried erasing and redoing but I’m not getting anything near a WYSIWYG similarity.

Am I missing something???

Hi Danzo

Try ‘px’ rather than percent %

ie. 16px not 120%, obviously this depends on the text size but should give you the results you want.

Perfect! I just assumed since it prompts for a % that’s what it wanted. Thank you Roger!

To everyone in general…

I am curious about “the big blue button”. In Freeway 4 Pro, the CSS layout button was indeed blue. Having recently upgraded to FW5 however, the layout button appears only as grey or darker grey. Not even blue-gray. Yet I keep hearing folk still refer to it as “blue” … is it truly blue for everyone but me? Is it perhaps force of habit or convenient reference? Am I like the Bruce Willis character in that movie about the shrink who can’t see the color red, except for me it’s blue?

When you use the Graphic OS X theme the button goes grey, not blue.

That would be ‘graphite’, not graphic.

Might be something to do with how you have your ‘Appearance’ pane of
the System Preferences set Ernie. You can choose Blue or Graphite …

Sweet. Thanks Todd and Paul – I thought maybe I had gotten a copy of the program where they had run out of blue at the factory.
