CSS responsive menu stuck inside it's box

I’m updating my web site to be inline responsive. When my CSS menu goes to the hamburger it’s stuck inside it’s box. I have an inline box called header and inside that is my menu. Overflow for both are set to visible.

I’m pretty sure this has come up before but couldn’t find it in the search.

Hi Craig,

the DIV named #Menu has

overflow:hidden

applied.

I think this is some kinda thing, Ernie and me recently figured out in another coherence. Freeway is doing so - but I cannot tell you why on non-floated DIVs (I’m sure in the inspector it shows “visible” - correct?).

Whatsoever:

Select this item, choose Item → Extended and in the DIV-Style (important) dialogue, choose new and enter:

overflow (as the name)
visible (as the value)

Publish. This should fix it.

Cheers

Thomas

Thanks Thomas, that fixed it.

Interesting because yes, overflow for both the html box “header” and the CSS menu were set to “visible” in the inspector.
