Is it possible to stop FW from using its own stylesheet.
I create my own and reference it in, but don’t want FW’s in the /head too.

I don’t think so. I recall trying to do the same thing years ago and not
being able to (unless things have changed in the past 5 years).

The External Stylesheets Action can do this. Use it to select the hand-written sheet (or sheets), and if you really want to get picky, it can also delete any styles embedded in the head of the page, too. The one sheet you don’t want to remove is the reference to the IE fixes sheet, you should ignore that one and leave it in play, otherwise IE < 9 will give you fits.
