Does anybody know how to mark up the correct code for nice big curly quotes and how to insert?

In either HTML or graphic text, simply use the Macintosh shortcuts:

Option ]

Shift Option ]

and

Option [

Shift Option [

Those work in all applications on your Mac. Freeway will write the correct code for the curly quotes.
