Hi Umberto,

If you send me Italian translations for the following in the same
format then I’ll make an amended Action for you (and get it included
in a future version of the Action).

[‘Sunday’,‘Monday’,‘Tuesday’,‘Wednesday’,‘Thursday’,‘Friday’,‘Saturday’]

['January
','February
','March
','April
','May
',‘June’,‘July’,‘August’,‘September’,‘October’,‘November’,‘December’]

Joe, does the Action interface get translated as well?

Yes it does. I thought about having translation for the output based
on the language of Freeway but that might not always be required.

Hi Joe,
I had a version of this (long ago) that used the default browser language as the
basis of the date. It then defaulted to English if this was outside of the scope
of the action.

Tim.

I knew you’d ask that! I’ll take a dig through my backup tapes and see if I can
find it.

From memory it used something like this;
var userlang=navigator.language? navigator.language : navigator.userLanguage;
which returns the standard language code (en,fr,de,es etc). Based on this you
can point the script to the right array for the language. The downside is that
the page will have to carry the weight of the full array even if only one
language is ever used. Maybe this could also be a user option.
</time passes>

Tim.
