I’m working with someone that might need to make his web site by himself. He may require more than just me making the site in Freeway and him adding simple content in designated CMS area.
Can anyone recommend easy to use DIY sites that a person with no coding experience and some design experience can create a site that would need PayPal links at the very least and possibly adding things like page flip books.
I will probably wind up doing this all in Freeway in the end, but I’d like to through some suggestions at him.
I think http://www.weebly.com is VERY simple. I have pointed several people in that direction, people who are mostly capable of only checking email. I started one guy out with another CMS, but when I saw the questions he was asking, I knew it would never work. I finally moved him to Weebly, and he’s been going to town on it ever since. I work a lot with nonprofits, and they all want to do it themselves. Weebly gives them pretty much everything they need for free, including a blog, and you can add your own HTML and CSS.
