Default hyperlink set to target blank

Is there a way to set the default Edit Hyperlink dialog to Target _blank?

I have to edit this setting every time I make a hyperlink.

In the Output tab of the Page Inspector, there is a Target picker which you may use to set the base (default) target for a page. Once you do that, however, every link on the page will be targeted to _blank or wherever you point it. I’m not aware of any way to set this at any other degree of specificity – it’s either by-the-link, or by-the-page.
