Deleting Template

Greetings!

How does one delete a template from the template database?

Thanks…Mark

Ctrl Click the FW application>Show package Contents

Drill down to Shared support>Templates for FW bundled ones

Also look in

HD>Library>Application Support>Freeway4/5>Templates

or User>Library>Application Support>Freeway4/5>Templates

Sorry to bring this back but the answer is not working for me and I am wondering where the templates are now stored please in Freeway Pro 5.6.4. Many thanks

Have a look in User>Library>Application Support>Freeway 5>Templates

or

HD>Library>Application Support>Freeway 5>Templates

With respect that is essentially the same answer. There is no Freeway folder whatsoever in my Application Support folder. I am mystified if one should indeed be there. Many thanks for coming back to me though - it is appreciated!

What version of Mac OS X are you using? Also, did you look in the Freeway application bundle itself? (Control-click on the Freeway icon, choose Show Package Contents from the contextual menu, dig around until you find the Templates folder…)

Thanks for that Walter. I am on Lion and confess I have only recently migrated to Mac.

Well I am now confused and bewildered. You are quite right - there is indeed a templates folder there which contains all the original ones installed with the software but the additional ones from the Softpress site I wish to delete are nowhere to be found. Most strange.

Okay, then we are nearly home and dry. On Lion, your personal Library folder is hidden by design. To navigate to it in the Finder, use this trick (works for any hidden folder you are allowed to access):

Click on or open a new Finder window and type Shift-Command-G (shortcut for Go / Go to Folder). Type in the dialog that appears exactly the following and press return:

~/Library/Application Support

You should see the contents of your Application Support folder, and within there, you should be able to see the Freeway 5 folder and drill down inside the Templates sub-folder. Where I am imagining you will find your missing templates.

Walter - you are my hero! I thought I had all hidden folders revealed but obviously not. Thank you so much!
