Design in the browser

From their mission statement:
The web has become the platform for creative expression

Like here:
Adobe CSS generator and design tool

Has any of you tested this?
Are we going to design in the browser from now on?

Adobe gives away this for free now, but I suspect it will be a to pay for app.

That might be enough reason for me to start using the Chrome browser.

as stated here Froont wants to solve many-screen design problems from within the browser – Gigaom “Froont’s editing mode currently only works in Chrome. According to Andersone, this is because Google’s browser has better inspection tools than others.”

Very interesting, though I’m not fond of the idea to install google’s browser on my mac…

Tempted…

I wouldn’t have it on mine purely because of the way they try to
propagate it, almost virus-like, in the Windows world. My only
Windows box is a £200 HP NetBook, and Chrome seems to come ‘for the
ride’ with all sorts of stuff. Several times I’ve had to abort an
update because I spotted Chrome in the download list. I then have to
re-start the update and scour every box for that ‘install Google
Chrome’ checkbox that’s ticked by default.
