I wonder if somebody has dealt with digitally signing PDF documents and can recommend a tool that performs this in a cost-effective way (Adobe Acrobat is nice, but pricy) ?
Currently I found two utilities for this job:
Portable Signer at http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Utilities/PortableSigner.shtml - has poor ratings, not sure if it will do its job or even is malware.
PDFSign from sybrex.com - sybrex Resources and Information.
- looks professional, but company is unable to reply any sales inquiry within weeks. So not recommendable at all in my mind.
For signing its intended to use a personal mail certificate provided by Thawte, but I’m unsure whether or not this works (inquiry sent to them, waiting for reply).
So any suggestion from your side is appreciated ![]()
