Disk Image pre-mastering software

I have a client who is preparing a DVD-ROM for duplication, and would
like to set up a nice “splash screen” like the Freeway disk images, so
that Mac users can see a nice background image and a huge “click here”
to launch the HTML contents. Windows users will suffer through the
usual Autorun.inf, we won’t need any special effort on their behalf.
Can anyone recommend a good tool that a lay person can use to create
these effects? I am perfectly comfortable setting this up myself using
Finder, so I’ve never had to investigate this particular toolset before.

I believe Toast has a pretty straight forward way of adding a custom graphic background to a disk. There is an option when preparing disk settings to select a custom background image. Image has to be prepare ahead of time of course. Don’t know about “click here” button though.
