ugh

I cannot figure this out… I followed the directions on action forge and graphic link to file does not allow a web link either
and scripty lightbox action dialogue box says only media height and width and no lace for link address…
maybe I am misunderstanding this - as usual
If you want to link to a site, then don’t use Link to File to create it, just select the graphic and apply a normal link to it (Control + K).

Hi
Yes I see the close option until the link is fully loaded and then it opens the entire window and that’s thats…
I have linked the text to the web address and attached the scripty lightbox to the text link also. It opens the link exactly the way I want it but the option to close or even go back to main page is not an option
its strange . Dave’s example above is great with option to close available… with me not so easy

I think this is where you are going wrong. Apply the action to the HTML container that holds the text or the container that holds the graphic you want to link from.
Ha Dave
as you know user error is my specialty
ok here is my test page
what I wanted was a list on left hand side of links to each review ( each review on a sep page) once you hit the larger image the scripty would open the link within the frame
so far all I can achieve is the text box to link. I was not able to add scripty action to large review because there is no place for link info
thx
I am ignoring the list down the left because that is just a Rollover which Triggers a Show/Hide Layer image on the right.
If you revisit my example I have placed a pic of the layout.
There are 2 pics (pengoo and club penguin) which have standard links applied (select and Cmd K)
These are contained within an HTML container which has the ScriptyLightbox action applied (no Media Height or Width have been set in the action interface)
ok Dave
Check out the example I made
The NY Times article dose not work after it completely loads , meaning there is no way back
but the LA Times article works fine
Correct… I have not been able to put the web link address anywhere with the larger graphic…as its in an html box. I can only put a hyperlink on a graphic box
this is slightly confusing
maybe i put the larger image in a graphic box and attach scripty action to that? will that work
