I use a similar product from Neat Scanner -
http://www.neat.com/products/neatreceipts/

For several years now. Great for keeping track of LOTS of receipts,
contracts, anything paper. I’m not in that fast lane now, but it was a must
when I was. And, as a portable was easy to carry on my travels.

Nice … options. I’ve heard of this one but that’s about it.

My not-so-old Canon is now a paperweight thanks to outdated/unsupported drivers so it would be nice to have a simple scanner for docs and such.

For most of my portable scanning needs these days, including receipts, I
use this: my-portable-scanner

I used to think in straight lines, now I cut corners. Used to have a
Toolkit, now I have a Go bag.

[Laughs] Yep, that certainly is an option. But I don’t own a camera … or cell phone, or tablet (I know, right?). I would probably get more mileage out of a portable scanner, as sad as that is.

This looks like a nice scanner. I have been using the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1100 and really like it. The UI is a bit Windows like and I would imagine the Doxie’s is more Mac like. Anyhow the best part is—paper clutter is minimized and I’m a lot more organized.
