I have a question that is perhaps a bit clueless. I cannot seem to find a way in Intaglio to draw a shape of a SPECIFIC size - beyond trying to use the grid as a guide. I need to draw boxes that are exactly 2 7/8 by 3 15/16 inches and it has me completely stumped.
I suspect that a script may be the answer but I know NOTHING about Apple script.
Is there and easy way to set the size of a box without doing a script? and is there a good step by step (think “for dummies” :)) tutorial for Apple Script?
“tab” to get the "geometry or click the “i” icon in the menu bar,
type in in delta"x" and in delta"y" each time accepting by “enter”
No need to use “enter”. Just type and Intaglio will adjust accordingly - to get to the next value hit “tab” - make sure maket the edit “proportional” or not first.
Good or bad, agreed or no, this is a sign to push forward with the Intaglio development!
We are not agreed to these offensive posts stating that this is a sh@##y application. We still use this application.
I use it for so much different things that I barely can’t live without it. I simply don’t care if it is or is not developed because it helps me so much!
But yes I agree that this could stay small, compact and could be MUCH better.
Nick → maybe just take few most reasonable people here and make some changes with their proposals?
Yes, I believe that this will evolve into something positive
BTW: There will ALWAYS be one who will make some bad and critics!
