Drawing with an exact size?

Hi,

I have one (small) issue with Intaglio and can’t get my head around it.

When i want to draw something i always try do make something in size like 468px wide and about 200px tall.
I don’t know how to make a drawing of exact that size in Intaglio.
It’s clear to me that i don’t have to use that size for my drawing, since it’s a vector graphic. But how can i scale my drawing to that size?

The next would be to use snapping for that size…

What’s the answer to this problem? Make a rectangle with that size and draw inside it?!

Would be great to get a tip for this…Thanks in advance,
Zettt

I have had similar issues, see the recent thread “Importing Bitmaps
1px Border Error”.

So I import a bitmap of a particular size and then check that my
export resolution is exactly right so that when I export the vector
art within the bitmap “canvas” I get the right pixel dimensions of
the vector art.

There may be other ways - and I’m by no means an expert with Intaglio

  • but it’s all I can suggest. Maybe others in the forum have a more
elegant approach to this issue of vector > bitmap workflows.

Best Regards
