drop down menus

like making type flash

Now if you want type to flash on its own - like some garish sites out there - then you would create a gif animation

If you want type to change when hovered over then use rollovers or link styles

And if you want HTML text to blink there is a setting in the character section of the inspector under styles (the last one in the row)

What exactly are you trying to achieve and we will try and steer you down the best path.

Unfortunately this outside the realm of Freeway. You will need another 3rd party application to do this, but if you have Photoshop you don’t have to look any further as that is built in to CS3 and beyond. Or if you have earlier Photoshop it came with Image Ready which does gif animations easily.

Ah, bummer, i only have photoshop cs2! - is image ready pretty easy to use?

Yup just do a Google search for Gif Animator and you will find plenty of options.

A little bit off-topic, but this may be relevant (and helpful) to some people reading this thread that are having problems with drop down menus.

When I designed my page in XHTML 1.0 Transitional and made the code ‘more efficient’ the menus did not work properly. When I changed it to ‘more readable’ it worked perfectly.

I don’t know if this is a known issue with Freeway Pro 5, but wanted to highlight it just in case others are having a problem with CSS menus and Transition FX

Cheers
