drop-downs

Hi,

Is it easy enough to integrate a ‘Multi-Level Drop Down Menu’ into Freeway pro and are there any alternatives I haven’t found to give the smoothness as demonstrated here:

sourced I think from here:

thanks,

Yes. You can use the built in CSS menus action.

Or, the new BAM action at Actions Forge

Thanks Nathan,

It was more the smooth gliding nature of the drop down that I’m after.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the BAM action though.

Thanks Dave,

That’s the business and definitely worth a paddle. I don’t need the horizontal aspect but shall see if I can work out how to remove it without get into to deep water - being a non swimmer:-) - might require a lifebelt.

Something for tomorrow.

The smooth drop-down though not essential is pretty cool.

Looking at the code, it appears this will only animate in a very few browsers – anything based on WebKit, basically – and will probably just snap down in all others.

 Wow ! from a non code persons world.

I’ll still give Dave’s a whirl if only to learn. Might be a case of going back to spicebrains compatible but licensed code.

I’m just wading into these waters myself. I would like to create some dropdowns similar to these: http://theflyshop.com/

Can this be done in freeway pro?

Thanks!

I think Doty that’s the BAM action; see Nathans (BigG) entry above.

Aren’t we spoiled - and for IE users - ignorance is bliss!

But it does work in FF, Chrome, Safari and Opera - not necessarily all versions.
