Hi, what’s the best way to duplicate an existing website without impacting it?
Say I have a website - all done. Then I decide I want to try changing the default web page size and go through and resixe things, change font sizes, etc… as a trial, but want to keep existing site as is - it’s live - until I’m done and happy with all the changes?
I don’t see something to duplicate existing site… or copy all existing site pages, folders, elements.
Thanks in advance - Lewis

This may turn out to be a silly way to do it, but I duplicate the file
(Cmd+D) in the Finder, and work on the copy until I’m satisfied.
That’s not silly at all, but there are a couple of things to deal with…
The duplicated file will still be set to publish into the same site
folder on your Mac. Go to Document Setup and pick a different one,
otherwise you might end up in a bit of a pickle.
The duplicated file will still upload to the same location in your
web site. If you want to try things out online without messing up the
current site, make a folder on the site first (use Transmit, or set
up a new folder in the original document’s Site panel and upload),
then make sure you include that folder name in the Path field of the
Upload dialog.
