Duplicating Freeway Files

I’ve created my site with version 4. I’ve pre-ordered version 5 and have downloaded beta 3 version of Freeway 5.

I’m trying to duplicate my existing files to experiment in version 5, while keeping the version 4 files separate and untouched.

I’ve duplicated the version 4 files and folder, gave them a slightly different name and moved to a different location on my HD. In the beta, in document setup I’ve pointed to my new folder. When I open the Freeway file in the beta, everything appears normal. But when I try to preview, I get a message that a number of graphic GIF files cannot be found. Freeway beta 5 can’t find them in the media folder of this new folder that I’ve created. It’s looking for the version 4 folder.

How can I point them to the correct new folder?

Go to Edit>Resources

This window will show the status of all the graphics etc. used in your document.
Update, locate as necessary.

It is likely that you may have some graphics that are not actually in your ‘Media’ folder - as long as you tell Freeway where they are using this method you will be OK.

Bear in mind that Freeway will not change your originals os you do not actually need to have 2 ‘Media’ folders.
