Hi Simone,
I use Digital Goods Store (http://www.digitalgoodsstore.com/) for my templates at Freeway Style (http://www.freewaystyle.com) as they take a simple 5% on every sale rather than a monthly fee. They also support quite in depth analytics and things like coupon codes and affiliate schemes.
Freeway Actions (http://www.freewayactions.com) on the other hand uses a custom PHP script I wrote many years ago that interfaces with Paypal’s own IPN system to release Actions once a payment has been made. Not as powerful as Digital Goods Store but I don’t pay to use it and I can adapt it to suit my exact needs as I see fit.

Essentially you add the product to the secure admin area of their web site, add a price and then define how you want your button to look. They then supply a block of HTML that you can copy and paste into your Freeway pages using Insert > Markup Item.
All pretty easy.
