e-mail filling field for subscribe or un-subscribe

I used a e-mail filling field in my previous where visitors could subscribe or un-subscribe for a newsletter.

I really can’t remember how and with what action it was don.

Any suggestions I’ll be thankful for

I assume you just need to set up a form where only the email address is needed:

Just insert a text field, in the Inspector palette make sure the field is set to email and set ‘Sign up for our newsletter’ as placeholder text.

The page action ‘Send Form’ can be used to set up the recipient (like 'email@hidden).
Ignore settings you don’t use/need.

You may have used MailChimp or ConstantContact or CampaignMonitor for this. All of these are vastly preferable to rolling your own solution, because they will take care of opt-in and opt-out and all the other niceties of “not running afoul of the CAN-SPAM Act” in the USA, as well as the far more stringent EU regulations around privacy and commercial speech. Each of these services provide you with a little snippet of code that you can paste into your page and get an instant sign-up form. MailChimp in particular is incredibly generous about what you can do with a free account, and all of them have a free level as far as I know.
