You still have two name fields! you need to give the second one the
Name of email, you are changing only the field titles and not the names.

1# Select the second field down
2# In the inspector window look for the * Name * field and change it
to email (Name field not item field)

That should sort your problem, let us know.

Upload the files to your server again… * wait until the upload
window closes * then try loading the form again, seems the files have
not all been uploaded.

I have also found some hand coded include for the captcha as if you
where trying to add easiCaptcha scripts by hand (I think you did this
at one stage), you do not need this line of code as the action sets
this code for you, you need to remove the code you have placed in the
‘Before ’ of you form page or the form will not work.

Melanie, please don’t take this the wrong way but I really think it
might help you to sit down and read the Freeway Manual… it will save
you a lot of time and get you going on the basics of using Freeway,
until you do this I fear you might find yourself going round in
circles for a while while using Freeway.
You have a work area set by Freeway (a canvas) * but you are not using
it *. I never really noticed this before because the guides you had
where covering the page outlines but I can see that the only part of
this canvas you are respecting is the top, you should respect the left
and right boundaries also.

Use the left side of the work area that FW gives you as the left side
of your page and work within that area, you can make the area wider
and longer by using the inspector window and setting the width and
height there. You can even set all the pages sizes from the very start
when creating a new site, or by using ‘Document’ settings in the
document set up.

Now: Changing this will probably alter how your page will appear
slightly so you might need to adjust things after fitting the "
picture within the canvas " as such… if you know what I mean.

From the file you sent me ‘with the image’ now I can’t really see why
you could not use the image as a background image on your form page,
you just need to structure the site within the canvas and then build
the image you have into a background image, then make the table a non
layered item. This will solve several other ‘layout’ problems on your
form page.

I have uploaded the files from this end and the form seems to be fine,
you just need to alter the version you have and remove that loose
easiCaptcha code you placed as I mentioned above.

Hope this helps.

Mike, I never even thought of taking this the wrong way. You’ve been extremely helpful to me and generous with your time.

I’ve been reading the manual and I can see why your take is for me to respect the canvas from the way I layed down graphic images. Previously my head got stuck on “background image” as a way of laying out a general background without any specific paramenters. Now I know this is how to put in background images rather then importing.

I tend to jump in quickly with my eyes closed…I’m not a code person by any means…thanks again

I just talking about the basic structure of you web pages! build them
within the boundaries Freeway gives you and I think things will become
simpler for you.
