Easy way to install multiple I.E. versions

In short: WineBottler | Run Windows-based Programs on a Mac shows how to install different versions of I.E.with a double click. Required is an intel-mac, Tiger Users have to install X11 also.

Have you installed this?

I’m thinking it won’t show you what sites look like in IE running in Windows. I’d be happy to be proven wrong, though.

Close, but not a ringer!

Pass your mouse over a javascript menu and the whole page refreshes. Had a problem with flash on a page as well. In fact that page never did open.

Generally the appearance of a page is pretty much identical, but if it doesn’t work perfectly it’s not worth the effort.

Sorry, no, I’ve not tested this. Because my one and only Intel-based mac (a mini) went to the service with some harddrive trouble (it is one with a Seagate HD, which can make some trouble when it is part of a series which where produced in the beginning of 2006). Sorry again for any inconvenience.

It’s not inconvenient. It is good to share.
