EE and nGen field frame

Just started using the nGen field frame.

Want to use it displaying images as part of the weblog:entries. Uploading an image file works OK. It showing up correctly as a thumbnail and filename under the Edit entry in EE. The HTML however is producing the path to the image partly, so the image is not showing up on the site.
Instead of: img src=“http://www.domainname.com/images/uploads/themes/Wedding_rings.png I’m getting: images/uploads/themes/Wedding_rings.png. Checked all path settings in EE and everything seems to be all right.

Any advice?

Is that path created by EE or FW? If it’s created by EE you’ll have to find a way to force it to produce the absolute path name.

If you’re using Crowbar to write the code snippet you could use the {site_url} variable for it. So it’d look like:

<img src="{site_url}{custom_field_name}" alt="ALT text for image" />

which would turn out to be:

<img src="http://www.yoursitename.com/images/uploads/themes/image_name.png" alt="ALT text for image" />

That’s how I’d do it. I know I use that plugin religiously and it gives me relative path’s to those items, but I too cannot find a setting but in the end that solved the problem.

Dan,

Thanks for the advice. Problem solved. Going to use the crowbar action more often.
