Eject Disk

Booting from the Drive Genius disc I erased 2 internal drives but am unable to eject the disc. I’ve tried various key combinations while restarting but no luck. Suggestions?

Hi Todd

Try holding the mouse button down as you re-start. This should eject the disk for you.

All the best

Thanks Gordon. Does it matter which button? Left, right, middle. I’m using a Magic Mouse.

Hi Todd

I’d try the standard (left) button for starters. I tend only to use a wired mouse and keyboard when I have problems and then revert to the wireless ones afterwards. Have you also checked that the disk isn’t set as the start up device in System Preferences?

All the best
