My email address on my web site (www.massagetherapybypaul.com) looks different on two of the pages (page 4 Clients Comment and page 5 Stress Busters). It was fine with the old version of Freeway but not when I uploaded with 5. No matter how many times I check and uncheck and recheck “use master settings” nothing changes when I upload, although it appears fine in my Freeway file. The type size is also different on those two pages. Very annoying. In Firefox the address appears double underlined, in Safari it appears as a heavier underline. Any clues, anyone? Thanks, Paul
Hi Dave, Thanks for your reply. I got rid of the keywords; I didn’t realize that was “illegal.” It’s been there for a few years though! I did make the change to “more readable” and I did have email hiding already set up.
I don’t really see where I have the “extra” underlining set up, and besides, this worked fine just the way it was when I uploaded with Freeway 4. I made no changes when I uploaded with Freeway 5. The size of the type of the email address on those two pages is different than the others too!
If that block is set to “use master settings” why does it now only work with the first three pages, and why do all pages look fine in my Freeway layout?
Thanks for your help.
Well, now it’s almost 100% there! I removed the styling and reset it back to what is already was using the menus and the changes were made. When I reset the styling using the inspector the changes did not work! I was also able to change the color of the phone number this way too: with the menus, not the inspector. There is just the slightest difference in the leading before the email line on those 2 pages (Comments and Stress Busters) and setting and resetting it in the styles menu didn’t fix it. The email line is probably one point lower than on the first three pages. You’d see it move when you go quickly from one page to another.
So your suggestion helped, although it shouldn’t have been necessary! Enough with the computer for today.
Make sure you also haven’t a style applied to the cell or HTML item
the text is in, that ‘second’ style could be getting applied to the
text as well as the one you have on the * actual * text.

Thanks Mike, I didn’t know I could apply a style to the cell itself, so now I’ve learned something! I don’t think that was it though, because I went back and deliberately set a style to the cell the see what happens. The appearance was not the same as it was before I made the changes via the style menu.
Now another issue I just noticed on the home page: the “Why Massage” rollover jumps when it’s rolled over but only on the home page. The settings are to the master and all the other rollovers on all the other pages are fine! Nuts.
Paul
Maybe the best thing to try is to select the cell then select ‘no
style’, then select the text and do the same, then with the text
selected select a style for it and see if that sorts the problem.
