I have a client who would like a good looking email so I am now trying out Max’s action.
If I succeed in building it - and I note no layers, no IE compatability and no external stylesheets - then how do I then give it to the client to mail out? Or do I have to mail it and if so how?
Sorry if this sounds a little basic - maybe I missed something along the way. Does a tutorial exist?
I have used the Email Ready Action and send out emails through the
Mail Chimp service and it works really well. Within Mail Chimp (and
others) there is the option to pay a small fee to have the email
tested in a wide variety of email clients.
To deploy the email you can create it in Freeway, upload to your
clients webspace in a dedicated directory - something like /campaigns/
november/ then in MailChimp specifiy the URL - Mail Chimp does the
rest - very easy.
