I just received a call from a close friend asking for help laying out a 5-page executive summary. He has all the requisite content (market need, size, competition, etc.) along with some pull-quotes, graphs, and charts.
His question (which I pass along to all you wise souls), is there a web site that shows some interesting graphic layouts? He doesn’t want this to come across as “just another executive summary.” My caution was not to “over design” the thing so that it looked cheesy and had the reader (potential investors) paying too much attention to graphic design rather than the business concept.
Thoughts?
