You shouldn’t limit yourself because of troubles that I am having. I find it to be a rather interesting piece of software that I am having trouble with. Your experience may be different @ Elizabeth.

As much as i don’t like to moan and love everything about Softpress… I can’t believe you sell a product that does not work 100%!

For me -

- The Focus gallery does not output a file (via export to freeway)
- The impress gallery looks great in freeway, great in preview but once published does not appear! (tried on a mac and windows laptop)

Are we beta testers?

Steve,

Yes, being that Exhibeo is currently 1.0, it is basically in beta. It is difficult for smaller companies like Softpress to test everything out themselves, if only because they don’t/cant own every different hardware and software configuration.

They could have had a open beta and let users like us test it similar to  
what adobe did with alot of their new app’s like Muse and Edge.

Follow up to my last posts. I was having problems with the software. I sent support a file with what was working and what was not working. In less than 24 hours they had a solution for me. My suggestion is to contact support if you are having problems. They are very responsive to what is going wrong. Thanks to Softpress for your help in resolving my problem!

As i said i don’t like to complain as i have only been using Freeway Pro for 5 months and the support from softpress and this forum has been fantastic…

In terms of gear i use… It’s a macbook pro with latest osx and the windows machine is a bog standard dell…  
So nothing special or different to which i would suspect they would test it on!

P.S one more moan… In the bloxx gallery (one which works for me, i have just added comments - when published you have to click a big “Z” for the comments to appear! a big Z!!!

The other is a new one to us. I know why it’s a Z (the icon is actually in a typeface), I just don’t know why you’re seeing it instead of the icon. Can you also send that file (assuming it’s in Freeway).

Currently it’s fixed, but we’ll looking at making it possible to change it as soon as we can. Out of interest, are the other thumbs in that theme (i.e. the ones that appear when you click the initial one) also too small for you?

Hi … if you could set the size of the initial thumbnail then that would be great and of use. The subsequent thumbs are all fine and dandy. Also would be lovely to go straight into the Lightbox and avoid the initial thumbnail.
