# Exhibeo links to images

Most of my use for Exhibeo has been to present a gallery of photos that I’ve taken for an event of some sort. What I would find really useful is being able to set things up so a large image can be downloaded by clicking on it (or maybe by having an optional download button shown?).

Forcing the browser to download a ‘bare’ image file just requires adding the “download” attribute to the href link code. This would be a really useful (to me) feature!

We could do this by adding a **Download** checkbox in the **Links** section of **Document Settings** ( **Customize Theme** ), beneath the **Open in New Window** checkbox.
