what to do again? I’d like to try this out, but it isn’t working for
me and your temporary example is no longer available.

This example follows the pattern of Unobtrusive JavaScript: it
considers what will happen in the absence of JavaScript on the client
(say, if Google comes crawling, as is their wont; or a screen reader
for the visually impaired).

your first note in this thread were very detailed… but I can’t seem
to get it working! <:-)

I want to vouch for Weaver’s Mootols Action Suite. I used it for navigation on my personal site and like it very much. It is really quite flexible and easy to understand.
The home page does not use the Weaver’s Action but all the other pages do.
