Exporting website for another person

I am creating a Freeway site for a friend, and eventually I would like them to be able to update it themselves (after they purchase Freeway). Is there a proper way to export/archive the site and send it to them so they can start updating it themselves?

I don’t know if any links/paths are broken if I just copy the entire folder and zip it and give it to them. Does Freeway remember the computer name in any file paths, etc?

If it’s as simple as sending the entire folder, that’s simple enough.

Thanks,
Bryan

I have swapped Freeway site folders with another designer and they have never had any issues. As long as you keep the assets within the Freeway site folder it should work fine.

Freeway 5 has a Save Archive function which creates a neat nested
folder containing everything you need to work on the site, all
organized for you. All original referenced files are packed in a Media
folder, the site folder is created and targeted, the only thing it
doesn’t do is package 3rd-party Actions.
