Hello,
I am a graphic designer, primarily for print work and I use Photoshop and InDesign almost exclusively. I have never created a website and don’t know HTML or CSS or any of that code that is used to create a ‘real’ website. I was looking for a Mac program that was as close to WYSIWYG as you could get and I thought Freeway would be it. In May of '07 I downloaded the Freeway Express 4 demo to create a website for our business and even though there was a learning curve I was able to create something I kinda liked. Anyway I never finished the site and had to put it off until now. Today I downloaded the demo for Pro 5 since I read it had more features and capabilties, etc. and I’d like to do more web sites if I can. Is there that much of a difference in Express and Pro? Honestly, I feel like an idiot because I can’t even figure out how to link a button to a page which I figured out pretty quickly in the Express version.
I’m sorry this is such a long post - I am just so frustrated and I can’t find any straightforward help on-line. Can someone tell me A) are the 2 programs/versions that different and B) where might I find a beginners tutorial that starts with a blank page and gos from there?
Thank you in advance for any help!
Misty
