[Express] 404 Error

I know I have done this successfully in the past, but can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong this time. I have searched in Freeway Talk for related problems, but don’t quite understand how to use what I’ve found.

I have selected text > Edit > Hyperlink > External > file: > Browsed to and selected the file I want the text linked to. I uploaded using Automatic (which is what I have used previously) and Passive. If I use Non-Passive I get an error: "Cannot complete upload because the server reported an error. (425 Could not open data connection to port 54311: Connection timed out).

When I go to the page online, it looks like the link is there, but it results in a 404 error. It’s been several months since I did this successfully. What am I doing wrong?

Linking to an external file like this is designed to link to a file that is already on the web - not a file that you want to upload!

You will need to upload the file separately using either FTP or an action like Upload stuff.

Ohhhh, I got it! I used the Link to PDF Action - sorry for a dumb question! I guess this is what happens when I learn a new program and then let too much time go by before using it again. Thanks for your time!
