[Express] Adding a site counter

I would like to add a counter to the site, but all the counters I’ve seen require a snippet of HTML code to be inserted into the existing HTML for a page. How do I do that with Freeway Express? I don’t see an option for displaying the HTML code.
Also, does anyone have a recommendation for a good counter? I’m looking for one that not only counts hits, but also provides some analytics, such as time spent on site, entry pages, exit pages, and so on. Google Analytics would probably fill the bill nicely, but I’m open to other suggestions.
Many thanks in advance.
Best,
David Heim

Maybe I’m too critical David, but by the love of Oprah … a sitecounter? Why would I, being a visitor of that site, be interested in the fact that 237 people visited that page before I did? I find it a kind of cheap. When you as an administrator would be interested in the number of visitors, I would hide it for the rest of the world.

Hi David,
Not a visual counter but you could try FreeCounter 2 (http://freewaypro.com/counter2/) or the Google Analytics Action that ships with your copy of Freeway. Both with track hits to your pages with Google Analytics doing a lot more too.
Regards,
Tim.
