Hi - I am just updating a few pages on my site (which has been running well under your hosting) and I decided I wanted to blink a header - at first this seemed to work when just previewing but then ceased to work. I was selecting it from the ‘style’ > type style menu.
i have checked you knowledge base for any hints as to what I am doing wrong however have not been able to find anything specific to the subject - what am I doing wrong and is there an instruction that gives all the prerequisite settings in order to get text flashing - TIA

Do you have a URL of the page in question so we can look at the code?

It does Blink - just not in Safari (latest)!
Try FF instead.

Thanks - I have just done a test and find that FF and Netscape are the only browsers I have that it does work on - does not work on Google Chrome/Safari or Internet Explorer.
Is there anything I can do to rectify this situation (i.e, the info will be handy dwn the track as well)

Have a look at http://www.deltadesign.co/fw_examples/fwactions/blink.html
This uses Transition FX on the Div containing the text.
Personally I thought that we had got away from this sort of early 90’s effect when everything on the page blinked or flashed with a myriad of tacky gif animations.
There are other ways of bringing something to your visitors attention. Is 50px Bold text not enough?

I do take your point and quite like your suggested compromise - how do I achieve that?
