In order to get my site verified by google, I have to place a line of html in the section.
How do I do that?

Go to Menu: Page > HTML Markup, then select the menu ‘Insert’ at the bottom left and choose ‘’
You can paste in your analytics code here. Paste it on all the pages you want tracked in the same way.
In FW5Pro, there is an action for Google Analytics which you may prefer to use, instruction are here: http://www.softpress.com/products/greatfeatures/analytics/

I have to place a line of html in the section.
Go to Page > HTML Markup, then choose either “After ” or
“Before ” from the popup menu at the bottom of the Markup
dialog. Paste your code in there, and it’ll be inserted either right
after the start of the section or immediately before the end
of it, depending on which of the two options you picked. Either will
work just fine.

Sorry… I should have said instead of if that’s what Google has stated for you.

Are you meaning the site verification code meta tag? That goes after
Although you could add this into Page > Meta Tags
Go to Menu: Page > HTML Markup, then select the menu ‘Insert’ at the bottom left and choose ‘after ’
As opposed to the Google Analytics that go before

Do you have to paste in every single page?

Sorry, my message was misleading. I was assuming you were inserting the analytics code (I should read more carefully).
As far as I know the code you have to insert only needs to be added once.

Every page that you want tracked… and not in those you don’t want
tracked. Up to you, basically.
As mentioned earlier in this thread, the Google Analytics action is a
regular part of Freeway Pro. That makes the process even simpler.
