[Express] iframe and iOS problems

Desperate for help!

I’ve only recently started using freeway and i’m very new to this so forgive my naivety.

I’ve sent up an iframe which is working fine on desktop computers and is just as i want. However, iOS devices do not allow any scrolling. Instead they show the whole iframe source page which then ruins the look of the page. I’ve looked on various forums and websites which show fixes but i do not understand how to implement them in Freeway. Can anyone help, please?

Many thanks in advance

What exactly are you trying to do with your iFrame - there may be another method and if we know a bit more about what you are trying to achieve…

Also can you tell us whether the iFrame content was created by you or if you have access to its code for editing.

I am trying to show a ‘latest news’ box (iframe) on the home page which allows the user to scroll down to see all of the historic posts. So i’ve set up another page which contains all of the news and the iframe on the home page just links to it.

So, the iframe content is created by me and is fully edited by me.

I hope this helps you help me

Why not just add a link to the actual page so that iOS users can go there instead.

There may be workarounds for the non-scrolling iOS issue but with Express the task of implementing one may not be worth the effort.

Hi Dave,

Your suggestion is exactly what i ended up doing. Thanks for your time and thoughts, i really appreciate it. I may have to upgrade to pro for some extra features.

Many thanks once again

If you have $50 that you can spare then you could spend it in much worse ways than here.
