[Express] Navigation box issue

I’ve got two pages that are showing blue lines under the navigation boxes. The other pages do not have this issue. Both of these pages were fine until I lengthened the html box and added more copy.

Master pages include the header, the navigation buttons, and the alt text links and copyright info box. I have the background colored blue and an html box over the content portion in light yellow.

I created two new master pages to address the added length of the “contact us” and “directions and maps” pages. If I remove the html box with the light yellow and change the background color to yellow, I get the navigation boxes to appear without the blue color.

How do I get the navigation boxes to appear without the blue lines but keep the blue along the side of the content area? The navigation bars look fine in the preview but change when I upload. The link below takes you to the site. I’ve got the “contact us” page showing the blue lines, and the “directions” page showing the lack of blue surrounding the site content that can be seen on all the other pages. Let me know if you need clarification on what I’m trying to do here. Thanks so much. I hope someone can give me a simple fix.

I’m not sure about Express’s interface, whether it has a way to figure
this out, but you have an extra style set on the links that show the
blue underline. By that I mean that the link contains the style,
rather than the style containing the link. In code, your bad links
look like this:

link text here

while your good one looks like this:

link text here

See the difference? As to how you got there, you probably added the
link first, then selected the link text and tried to style it. The
correct one saw you creating and styling the text, then applying the
link as the last step.

Thanks, Walter.

I initially duplicated the first master page to create the 2nd and 3rd master pages. I then applied the appropriate links.

I think it has more to do with the page background color. When I change the background color to tan/yellow, the blue lines go away.

I want to have a browser background of blue as I do on the other pages. No problem on the other pages when I do this, just these two. There’s a glitch somewhere…
