Heinrich, there are a number of options in the Inspector to help you draw basic shapes, add borders and shadows, etc. Take a look in the Basic Freeway Guide at :
http://download.softpress.com/downloads/UsingFW5Guide_2010.pdf
Look up the Inspector section. What you need comes under the second tab - the Crayon icon - and, although it covers Pro as well, Express should have much the same tools.
When you are new to Freeway I recommend you keep a second, trial site going alongside your main project. Just a couple of pages will do. You can then use this to try out different tools, different ideas and generally click around all the options in Freeway to find out what works or you - without compromising anything on you main project. In fact the best way to learn Freeway is to experiment (and checking out the manuals on the Softpress website can help, too) - and keep asking questions on here. We’ve all been beginners at some stage.

Hi Dave, I used iWeb to finish a site recently (way to basic, so I’ve been playing around with Freeway Pro (trial), loved it, but could only afford Express - still awesome)
I’m building the site for myself, have a look at www.farmos.co.za
The shape I’m talking about is the kind of rectangular shape on the home page (with all the content in)
That’s what I want, being able to take the same type of shape and make it larger / smaller etc…
Thanx
