I am brand new to Freeway and really stumbling through in trying to create my own site. I am trying to create some text rollovers, but find the reference manual short on info. Whenever I make a text rollover as a hyperlink I cannot find a way to make the color of the text anything other than its default blue. In addition, The text does not change when I hover over it with the cursor. It only changes when I actually click on the text. How can I get the text rollover to change colors when I do a mouse-over without clicking?
As a Pro user I am not sure whether the interface is the same in Express but…
In the Page Inspector (Window menu > Inspector if it is not visible) there are 4 tabs along the top - General (pic of a page), Appearance (paintbrush), HTML generation and Text
With nothing on your page selected click on the Paintbrush Tab
At the bottom there is a disclosure triangle next to the word Links
Open this to see the settings that you can make on a pagewide basis for link state colours and underlining or not.
There are also individual actions that can be applied to HTML boxes to do this on specific areas but I do not know if these are available to you.
Thank you, David! So easy and worked like a charm. I now have to learn how to insert these text rollovers as inflow items embedded in lines of text. It’s a lot to learn for a novice like myself. Thanks, again.
