I am having trouble using the upload feat

Sorry, I accidentally hit post.
Anyhow, I get the following error whenever I attempt to upload my site using Freeway express:
“Cannot complete upload because an error occurred while sending network data” [-26345:625:1214)
Using Transmit, I can copy the website to Network Solutions host just fine. The ftp settings are the same in both transmit and freeway. I’ve reset my router (a suggestion I read on another thread), but it did not help.
Any ideas?

In the Upload dialogue box/settings in FW there are options for FTP Mode - these are Automatic, Passive and Non-passive.
If it is set at Automatic then try Passive and if that doesn’t work then Non-passive.
But no matter what it is initially set at then try the others. Some servers prefer a different option.

I am having the same problem. I have tried a dozen times using all three modes, and of 165 files have uploaded at most 40. But when it cuts out, nothing appears to have been uploaded. Can I upload a smaller batch of files at one time? And exactly what is causing this problem?

Hi Paul,
Freeway has an option to save FTP log files. This might show you where things are failing. There is a Save Log checkbox in the Upload dialog, and logs are saved in the Logs folder in your user Library folder (you can get to the Library folder by holding down the Option key and choosing Library from the Finder’s Go menu).
If you don’t have any luck with this, another thing you could do is to use the “File Copy” Upload method to copy files to a local folder, and then use a third-party FTP program to sync that folder with your online folder.
