[Express] Why does this happen? What am I doing wrong??

I keep having this issue. I have a solid white graphic item on my master. Then, on several of the pages I add the html for the content and give it a solid white background as well. I arrange it all so that it fits the placement of the master. But then when I preview it on the browser there are holes in the original white graphic that I have on the master. You can see lines that show through to the site background which is beach/water. Looks awful and I can’t figure out how to keep it from happening or to make it go away! Here are screenshots of the work in case anyone can see from this what I’ve done.

Fixed. I am never sure how I fix it but …

Looks to me like it could have been something to do with the layers?

No layers there - note the Blue bounding boxes.

Thanks Dave,

This is true that I used a graphic item as a background but the items that I have text (and font sizes) are html. The html items are on top of the graphic item. It appears to be fine now but I will have to watch this in the future as I apply changes to this site or other ones.

I’m coming to freeway from iweb so I have a lot to learn!
