These are database driven systems (Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, EE) and are nothing like Freeway.
If you want the freedom of Freeway and let your client do some changes I think it is better to look at Webyep (very easy to implement into Freeway) or TinyCMS or solutions like that.

If you really need a robust CMS system I think you should forget about using Freeway in combination.
ExpressionEngine is easy to use after you’ve read the User Guide and understand the tag system. This isn’t your typical drag-and-drop set up like WebYep as you must understand the tags to both get the Freeway Actions and also how to get your content to load where you want it.
Freeway is essential for making the templates and that’s easy to do, BUT remember that box-model style layouts are a must since you have to plan for both a paragraph of content or then pages of content so your layout will have to adjust to fit the unknown.
