I need to have a simple HTML page with external CSS file that I must upload to my account at a payment service provider (to match the look & feel of my website when people make a payment).
It only works if I have an external CSS file. Not sure how I create an external CSS file in Freeway… I’m not very familiar with this, hoping someone can help!

if you would like an external css file then you can use the inbuilt freeway method then go to
File/Document Setup
click on the Output tab and click the middle check box two thirds of the way down the popup window
this will create and write a lot of the styles to an external style sheet… Although not all
If you want a truly clean of any inline css styles html document… then Tim has created a fantastic action called Externaise which really does move all your styles and all the inline styles to an external style sheet
