fading slideshow/rollover conflict

Hi folks. Just finished redesigning a personal site at:
www.macrisdirect.com

I originally wanted to add a slideshow effect on the top graphic. When I found “fading slideshow,” I was totally excited. After some muddling around, I finally figured I had to save in html4 or xhtml to get it to work. Unfortunately, moving to html 4 or xhtml (either strict or transitional) also disabled all of my slave and rollover images. I realize I can download another application (such as Vertical Moon), but it seems like I’m so close to solving this problem within Freeway. The fading slideshow is exactly the effect I’m going for. However, the portfolio site makes heavy use of rollover and slave images. The slideshow is merely eye candy.

For now, I’m using a timed redirect, which is ok. But it’s not the smooth transition I’m looking for.

The pertinent info:
System 10.4.11
Freeway 4.4.1 (I have the latest version, but it also disabled rollovers)
Currently saved as a html 3.2 file for maximum utility

Any thoughts?

Uh, nevermind. I opened the site in the latest version of Freeway and saved it as an XHTML 1.0 Transitional. Both fading slideshow AND rollovers are working like a champ. Just had to work this thing out. Very happy now. Maybe I’ll be able to finally get to sleep.

My website was designed using Freeway Express and I have multiple image galleries in which one can view each picture by rolling the mouse over a thumbnail. The rollover feature does not work in Safari 3.0.4 but has always worked in previous Safari versions and it continues to work in all other web browsers including for clients who have looked at the site in IE on PCs. www.jefferyminnish.com. Anyone have any thoughts on this issue?

Be sure you have the very latest version of Freeway Express. This
issue was noted and fixed. The latest version includes the updated
Action. You will need to re-publish your site to see the change.
