fading slideshow

I am in midst of my TLC website. I have added … easily thanks to
Danj… a fading slideshow on the welcome page.

But i have a question…

can I put captions under each pix to say what room it is?

http://www.grassrootsweb.net/tlc

Thank you!!

If you are using the Target Show/Hide Layer Action, with Sequence
timer, you can make a matching stack of captions and apply the same
Action and matching trigger number to each one. You will need to have
an opaque background to the caption to ensure lower layers do not show
through.

For example, if the first image is set to target #1 in the action,
the first caption will also be set to target #1 in the Action.

Alternatively, you can Group the image and the caption and apply the
Target Show/Hide Layer Action to the surrounding container - not the
image or caption. (This is easily selected in the Site Panel if you
have trouble clicking on the Item).

Actually, you don’t even need to give the captions an opaque background. I just did the same thing on a page and when you stack the captions you can see all of the clutter of overlapping text but when you preview and upload it only shows the caption that applies to the displayed photo.

There is also the Image Captions action that applies caption to your images and you can style them too.

BTW Typo: Please watch slidesho for a tour of our Facility. Missing W in slidesho

But I don’t think you really need to state the obvious in this way
