FancyZoom & HighSlide JS

Hi All

I have been trying to get FancyZoom to work on one of my sites but it just wont.

Has any body tried or used in Freeway - Highslide JS http://highslide.com/

The Highslide looks great but I need to know how easy it is to set up in FW.

Hi Lee,

I implemented Highslide JS in a Freeway site - http://www.frenchwineroutes.com/ Click the Sitemap, Privacy Policy or Terms & Conditions links to see it in operation.

It is fairly straight forward, and there are a lot of customisations which can be made. Refer to the Highslide JS website for further customisation options.

See 2 screengrabs below of where to input the required code to get it to work:-

I have added my own customisations in the second entry, but you can at least see the principal.

Let me know if you need more help.

Hi Craig

Once again, thanks for the quick reply. I’ll have a go tomorrow to get it into my site.

Hi Craig

I am assuming that the hover picture enlargement effect is a Jquery one.

Can you refresh my memory as to which one it is.

Thanks

Hi David,

It is jQuery based, the tutorial I created is at:-

Let me know how you get on.

I just tried using the HighSlide editor to create a gallery, easily uploaded it, they provided the embedded code - it was amazingly easy I thought. I not only donated to them, but can’t wait to try out more styles. Reasonably priced, and easy to use with good looking results. Can’t beat that!

Good luck with your project.
