Favorite Scrolling Mouse?

I ended up with a Mighty Mouse after the wireless mouse that came with my iMac broke under warranty. AppleCare on this system ran out back in September, and the scroll ball on the Mighty Mouse is now broken. I’m now addicted to scrolling with the mouse so I guess I need to replace it. I could just buy another Mighty Mouse, but keeping that scroll ball clean and working properly all the time was a hassle.

So, what mouse would you recommend?

Here are the conditions I think I have.

  1. No track balls. I want a mouse.
  2. I like Apple’s lack of buttons. I don’t need lots of buttons.
  3. Low profile. This should not be an issue with a mouse, but I thought I should mention it. There needs to be enough room for the mouse and my hand on this keyboard tray.
  4. Great driver support. I update Mac OS X pretty close to when the updates come out, so I can’t have it not work when 10.5.3 ships.
  5. Bluetooth wireless. My next Mac, I’m going back to wired mouse and keyboard, but for this system I probably need a wireless mouse unless it has a really long USB cord.
  6. Ambidextrosity. I actually mouse left-handed most of the time, so a mouse with a right-handed shape won’t do. But, I don’t want a left-handed mouse, either, because I do mouse right-handed sometimes, like when I’m on the phone.
  7. Scrolling, as stated above.

Erm, did I just describe a wireless Mighty Mouse?

For me the Might Mouse is absolutely tops. I tried a bunch of other brands and none of them have the solid feel of the MM. I can’t stand the cheap plasticky feel of the others. I clean the little trackball with a bit of rubbing alcohol every now and then.
