Shot in the foot! I got into the Mac’s finder and changed the file name of a moderately detailed drawing. I’ve now learned NOT to do that again! The file now opens as an uneditable drawing, i.e. the vectors appear “Grouped” and can not be un-Grouped.
Is there any way to backtrack so that I get back to the original (editable) drawing?
Never happened to me as long as there´s no special characters along the paths to the file.
Giving back the former name won´t open the file again?
If not - that´s odd.
Otherwise send it over.
You’re very helpful (or I’m an idiot!) There WAS an offensive hyphen in the new name, once removed all is well again.
Thanks for your suggestion - simple as it was, I doubt that I would have thought of it.
